High Waisted Denim

Over the weekend I was on a mission for a new pair of denim. When you can wear jeans to work it is def nice to have a few more options in the closet. I stumbled into Madewell down in the flatiron hoping to have a little luck.

I tried on two styles and surprisingly fell in love with their high riser jean. They are so comfortable and offer a different look from what I already have. I stuck to the darker wash...but I might have to go back and get the lighter wash now too! I love the way the girls above have styled theirs and will be on the lookout for more ideas and inspiration!

I had a productive Saturday this weekend. My entire morning run consisted of me thinking about the iced coffee I was going to purchase at the end of it...hey, sometimes you need a little motivation to get through a workout. I layered up for my trek downtown to do a little [window] shopping, checked out a sample sale, dropped my laundry, cleaned my room, got a crisp new white duvet and celebrated a friends 25th.
